The GratedeX® underlayment panel is a structural decking underlayment that's free-draining and inert to moisture. It provides a solid support surface for thin gauged stone or tile. This and other surface materials are bonded to the underlayment with the Hold-Tite® adhesive providing a permanent flexible attachment. Open joints between stone or tile allows for surface drainage to the waterproofing surface below. Each GratedeX® panel is supported above the waterproofing with a 1/2" drainage space and interconnected to adjoining panels with the Ped-Tite® pedestal discs.

Get creative with the finished surface. Thin-gauged stone or tile glued to the GratedeX® panel is light-weight and allows for future panel removal for maintenance. Pavers? No problem. Dry-lay modular pavers with the same free draining and maintenance access benefits. Need some fun? How about artificial turf or a rubber style floor mat? A rooftop garden? And if uplift is your concern, don't worry. The GratedeX® underlayment panel with a glued thin-gauge stone or tile surface falls within the Dade County Florida hurricane uplift requirements for a single panel weight but is still light enough to be removable for maintenance. It stays in place when you need it to.
